The model excels at coding with vision by reasoning over images and video, improving image/video-to-code generation and visual debugging. K2.5 supports autonomous visual debugging where it visually inspects its own output and iterates on it autonomously. The agent swarm capability allows self-direction of up to 100 sub-agents executing parallel workflows across up to 1,500 tool calls.
The model works through a native multimodal architecture trained on approximately 15T mixed visual and text tokens. For complex tasks, Kimi K2.5 automatically creates and orchestrates an agent swarm without any predefined subagents or workflow. The agent swarm uses Parallel-Agent Reinforcement Learning (PARL) with a trainable orchestrator agent that decomposes tasks into parallelizable subtasks executed by dynamically instantiated, frozen subagents.
